West Hartford, CT Sewer Main Break - Over 20 homes flooded
A tragedy struck in West Hartford CT. A main sewer pipe clogged and spilled raw sewage into the street and into the homes of at least 20 houses in the neighborhood.
Some homes had more than 6 feet of raw sewage and storm water filling their basement, destroying all their belongings.
Out on the street waste water continued to gush human waste and storm water which flooded into at least 20 homes.
SERVPRO of Bloomfield / Enfield was on the scene, working with multiple homeowners and city officials to mitigate the damage.
The flooding sewage was a result of a collapsed 60 foot section of pipe lining, leading to the major break.
SERVPRO of Bloomfield / Enfield pumped out basements, removing damaged belongings and structural materials. Disinfecting and drying the homes. And preparing for reconstruction.
