Dishwasher Leak

SERVPRO was called down to Old Saybrook, CT to remediate a home that had extensive water/mold damage due to a dishwasher that had been leaking for weeks with no one in residence. It’s something we deal with on a daily basis…that’s how common that type of water damage is. The water had permeated every surface…quickly. It soaked the walls and floor. It reached the sub floor and even the crawl space below the floor. It also wicked up and through walls, soaking insulation and even caused damage to electrical sockets housed in the walls. The walls and flooring were completely demoed. We dried and added antimicrobial to the whole area.  The customer was amazed with the work SERVPRO of Bloomfield/Enfield had done, they truly lived up to their saying "Like it never even happened." no matter how extensive the damage was.
